SLABS by Design is a Sydney based design studio that produces polished concrete furniture, benchtops and bespoke architectural pieces for commercial and residential projects.We specialise in combining concrete with steel or timber, to favour a light, clean and simple aesthetic.

Emma's Story 

SLABSbyDesign was founded in 2014 by Gina Chapman and in 2017 she handed over the reins to fellow Sydney Design School graduate Emma Hodges. British born and bred, Emma started her career as a fashion buyer where she worked with some of the leading UK and Australian retailers for 9yrs before pursuing her passion for interiors. Emma lives in the heart of Sydney with her husband Simon and their latest creative production, Edie.

Emma’s cool sense of creativity pairs perfectly with her passion to create concrete statement pieces for your home.
